This season’s refresh of the Chuck Taylor All Star Street sneaker takes inspiration from outdoor gear. A neutral, canvas upper sets up details to stand out, including utility heel webbing and popped stitching around the ankle patch. The mid-top design is also outfitted with Chuck Taylor classics—a woven tongue label, diamond pattern outsole, and an OrthoLite insole.

Created in 1917 as a non-skid basketball shoe, the All Star was originally promoted for its superior court performance by basketball mastermind Chuck Taylor. But over the decades, something incredible happened: The sneaker, with its timeless silhouette and unmistakable ankle patch, was organically adopted by rebels, artists, musicians, dreamers, thinkers and originals.
